Every text field in a campaign block accepts variables. Write a variable as {{name}} — two braces, no spaces — and Hype replaces it on the storefront with the live value for that shopper. For example, Add {{pending_amount}} more to unlock free shipping becomes Add $18.50 more to unlock free shipping.

To see the list for the block you are editing, click Variables & formatting in the block's setup modal. The panel is titled Block Variables and shows exactly the variables that block supports.

Rules

  • Use the exact spelling above. An unknown variable is left in place as literal text, so shoppers would see {{discout}} on your storefront.
  • Do not put spaces inside the braces. Write {{discount}}, not {{ discount }}.
  • Only the variables listed for a block work in that block. {{min_quantity}} in an announcement bar will not resolve.
  • Money variables are formatted with your store's money format and the shopper's market currency.
