How do I change the email address you contact me on?

Ask support to change it. There is no email setting in Hype Discounts — the Settings page has sections for live pricing, theme, collections and cache, and no contact field anywhere in the app. The address we hold for your store is the one Shopify gave us when you installed, and it is recorded once at install rather than kept in sync afterwards.

To change it

  1. Open the chat from the Hype app in your Shopify admin, or the Support page.
  2. Say which address you want replies sent to, and mention it early in the conversation rather than after several messages.
  3. If a ticket has already been opened on the wrong address, give us the ticket number so we can move it.

Our assistant sometimes acknowledges a new address without applying it. If replies keep going to the old one, say "please have a human update the contact email for this store" and an agent will do it directly.

Which address is which

Several different addresses are involved, and only some of them are ours to change:

Charges for your Hype subscription are billed by Shopify, so those notices follow your Shopify account email, not anything we hold. Changing it in Shopify does not change what our support system has on file, and changing it with us does not change anything in Shopify. If you want everything on one address, update it in both places.

Hype does not send you marketing or campaign email

Hype Discounts does not email your customers, and it does not send campaign or performance mail to you. If you are receiving mail about your store from an address you do not recognize, it is not coming from this app.
