How is my bill calculated, and can I get a refund?

Your bill is set by the number of paid orders your store took in the current 30-day cycle. Each cycle is billed at the highest tier its order count reaches, and the next cycle starts again from Free. A tier never carries over — a busy month does not raise the price of the quiet month after it.
It is not based on revenue, on how much you used Hype, or on a running total since you installed. If you were told at some point that your band came from cumulative all-time revenue, that was the older pricing model. The full tiers and prices are in How pricing works.
What counts as an order
Every paid online order created during the cycle. Cancelled orders and point-of-sale orders are not counted. Details in What counts as an order.
Refunds
A cycle is billed at the highest tier its order count reached, and that charge is not lowered or refunded within the cycle. What to do instead:
- Cancel from the Plan page. Access from the cancelled subscription ends immediately in this app. If this app holds Hype Suite, the other apps keep Suite access for 72 hours. See Cancelling and refunds.
- Do not uninstall to save money. Uninstalling deletes your store's data, including your live pricing schema and campaign setup, and it does not refund anything. Cancelling keeps your configuration.
Quiet months
There is no way to freeze billing while you keep the app installed, and deactivating your campaigns does not lower your tier — the count follows your store's paid orders, not your use of Hype. If you will not be running anything for a while, cancel the subscription; you can approve a new one when you come back, and your campaigns are still there.
Older subscriptions
Stores subscribed under the previous revenue-based or flat Enterprise pricing keep it until they choose to switch on the Plan page. Switching applies from the next billing cycle. See Existing subscribers.
