Volume discount table

The volume discount table lists the tiers of a Volume Discount campaign as a simple table — quantity on the left, saving on the right. It is a display block: shoppers read it, but they cannot select a tier from it. It is only offered on campaigns whose discount type is Volume Discount.

If you want shoppers to pick a tier and add it to the cart, use the volume discount selector instead. The two blocks can be used together on the same campaign.

Add it

1. Open the campaign's Blocks page and select the Product page tab.
2. Click Add campaign block and choose Volume discount table.
3. Copy the App block ID, add the Hype: Volume Table block in your theme editor, and paste the ID into its App identifier field. Full steps: Adding a block to your theme.
4. Click Next, write the rows, and save.

Content settings in the Hype admin

Settings are grouped per discount rule, labeled Discount #1, Discount #2 and so on, matching the rules on the campaign. For each rule you set:

• Header and its icon — the table heading.
• For each Tier, two cells:
  • Eligibility — the left column, for example Buy {{min_quantity}}.
  • Discount — the right column, for example Save {{discount_percentage}}.

Because the table is text you write, it will not follow the campaign's numbers on its own. If you change a tier's quantity or discount value on the campaign, update the matching row here too.

Row text accepts {{eligibility}}, {{discount}}, {{discount_amount}}, {{discount_percentage}}, {{min_quantity}}, {{unit_discounted_price}} and {{final_discounted_price}}, plus {{discount_code}} in the header. See Variables you can use in block text.

Style settings in the theme editor

Open the Hype: Volume Table block.

The App Identifier must match the App block ID from the Hype admin, or the table renders nothing.

Preview

Inside the Shopify theme editor the block renders a placeholder table so you can style it before a campaign is live.

Limits

• The table does not interact with the product form. It adds nothing to the cart and does not change what is already there.
• It shows the tiers of the campaign it belongs to, on the product page it is placed on.
